Hi! I'm Alana.

 

Raised in the suburbs of Philly, I ventured to Virginia for college and graduated from James Madison University in 2023 with a degree in Media Arts & Design and a concentration in Creative Advertising.

 

After graduating, I returned to Philadelphia to begin my career in public relations and social media at a boutique agency specializing in food, beverage, and lifestyle brands. It was there that I sharpened my skills in writing, content creation, media relations, and hospitality brand-building—and, of course, developed a deep appreciation for the dining scene (a seriously awesome perk of the job).

In Fall 2024, I moved to Washington, D.C. to live with my college besties and start my current role as Marketing Coordinator at Avison Young, supporting the firm's top-producing brokerage team on the East Coast. Here, I've furthered my experience into the marketing side of communications, helping develop integrated campaigns, plan events, and create digital assets that bring personality to CRE properties.

 

Outside work, my interests span hot yoga sculpt, beating a dead horse with my friends, grabbing a $9 iced latte, calling my parents on FaceTime, reading celebrity memoirs, and any outing that involves food, and ideally, an extra dirty gin martini.
